M-Plate/ M-code strange...

  1. My bus of 1978 Italian destination in the third line M-plate after codes PPPPUU (paint and interior) have the group code KL3 ... what optional corresponds?

    The only reference in Molenaar''s book to KL is in world export destinations 'Kenya CKD Leyland'

    I will check further as you say it was sent to Italy.

    Could you take a picture of the M plate and post it up?

    I know a SKD was a semi knock down vehicle assembled at destination like the Aussie buses.

    Yes. I just used that as a sort of reference. Not a good one.
