Mains hookup

Where do people put their flush fit or not flush fit mains electric sockets? Just trying to work out best location. Any pictures appreciated.

 

A lot of people favour having the inlet under the floor between the rear jacking point and last outrigger. In fact that's where I had mine for many years but now my van's mostly parked up in my (rather tight) garage it suited me to relocate it into the engine compartment...

 

This is just under the bed seat, so very short wire to the consumer unit under the bed.


Perfect. I've moved/replaced the double socket since.

 

Outside

One in, one out via 600W inverter / UPS.

 

Inside the engine bay for me, keeps it out of the weather.

 

I like that inverter idea Mike , I’ll be doing the same
