    I particularly love it when a boiler that’s need changing has had boxing in afterwards. Especially when I can’t remove the boiler to replace it without extra work :rolleyes::mad:

    I was a bit nervous about stepping backwards and landing in a heap removing the old one but had a handy assistant with putting up the new one :)

    The whole removal was a pain tbh. I’m going to have to 45 all the pipes tomorrow as had to move the new boiler slightly left :rolleyes:

    Indeed! They’ve lots of stupid micro bore so the system wasn’t draining properly and there’s still water in the flow and return. Easier to just cap off the hot and cold overnight too :) You will note compression cap end on the gas tho. Also I had temporarily mi SF laid my other 22mm cap end so used an elbow instead so at least any further drainage could be directed into a tub :thumbsup:

My father was the first person to create a ‘working horse’ class, as he was fed up with the ‘hooray Henry’s’ with their horse and trap entries. He was inspired by Steptoe and Son. (1974)

    As i can now venture further into the woods without having to carry the hairy one back to the car when she's worn out i've found theres miles of nice tracks ideal for mountain biking along.
