Hello everyone, Quick question, is there any way of removing the barrel from the sliding door lock. I am sure there is probably a trick but it is eluding me. thank you.

There are two types - barrel in handle, barrel separate. Separate type you need to remove the whole front mech.
there is a small screw in the barrel you may need to drill it out as sometimes they are soldered or brazed in
