A few of us as going to the Swap meet and will try to be by the bar (first floor) around 12:30 if anybody else wishes to say hello. How we will recognise one another I don't have a clue

 

Too far for me, over three and half hours away, but £10 is too much entrance fee.
Huddersfield autojumble £2.50 , cafe next door full brekky and cuppa £4.50 , free parking . A grand day out for less than a tenner . Plus proper old school auto jumble ,

 

Nobody wants to visit Huddersfield

 

Last time I was near, I discovered Huddersfield doesn't exist anymore, it's part of a larger conurbation called Cleckhuddersfax

Agreed, it's as much about the social side as it is the actual jumble. I loved going when I lived in Leeds and had a stall when the garage got a bit full ....
Rufforth was better for bike 'stuff' but 'Uddersfeeld was more general - great jumble !!

Part of penny farthing fairs / Phoenix fairs , next on 28th November . But every month over the cold seasons based on most vendors going to bigger fairs in the warmer weather

 

I would rather pay a tenner for having a good swapmeet , than have nothing at all.

The cost of the fuel to get to it is another factor.. I spent a tenner or so for Dubfreeze and drove a 400 mile round trip and spent a couple of hundred pounds on things. Entry fee negligible.

 

It's a bit far for me, sadly, but I was thinking of the Volksworld show this coming year. Have a good root around everyone
