    Took us 4 hours up and 3.5 hours back. T’was a bad weekend for traffic that’s for sure!

    Got home after 7 1/2 hours and two stops, one to empty me and the other to fill up the Bus.

    My biggest drama was getting my small cooker table pulled out from under the cargo net on the roof rack in the heavy cross winds by Torness on the A1. I watched it as it flew behind me and was trampled by an oncoming lorry. I was certain my load was safe, but clearly there's a lesson in there for me:oops:

    Ozzie came up hours after us and it was still traffic hell. Couple of big accidents on the M5 I think. We went via that Wales in the end!
    The delay getting home was another accident.

    ..well..I got back home on that Sunday without any issues however..literally 50 meters from home I heard some sort of clanky noise..thought I must have ran over an empty bottle..so forgot about it..today went out to the bus and noticed this

    ..hm it was og 1980s golf mk1 headlight..the lens just decided to come off..no drama though..still have the og lhd headlights so need to get those rhd deflectors and all be good for now I hope

    Oh dear, that’s annoying. Mine are sealed beams rather than a separate lens. So many variations for different markets.

    ..mine were sealed too..pretty sure it must have been opened up at some point in it’s life and then siliconed back on..but things like it happenes from time to time even with the og parts as they get older I’m affraid..will put my lhd ones on today tho’
