A cracking weekend, and lovely to see you all! I dashed off early this morning and safely back to Poole by midday. A quick repair at the petrol station filling up as the spade connection on the fuel cutoff solenoid decided to fall off. All sorted now.

My first time , had a great time, I echo the thanks to Matt for the lovely Saturday lunch and thanks also to Mike d. for his help

 

Got back about 6pm. No issues and quite nice trundling along in the sun.

Quick pootle home and got back with enough time to give Hank a quick wash, then the ice cream van appeared so seemed rude not to reward myself

 

Thank you to everybody involved for making this an excellent weekend. Particularly those who helped me diagnose the key issues with my twin carbs! That will give me something to work on for the next couple of weekends!

 

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. hopefully next time I'll be seeing the weekend from a different perspective, from the comfort of my van

Really dissapointed not to have made it, but for what it's worth the shows went really well and the students did us and themselves proud.

 

I just love that there both the same vehicle
Both look cool but they are vastly different.

 

Thanks guys for the much needed weekend out, a big thanks to my mate who lent me his van.
Great turnout, great weather, and top company!

Big improvement on the steering box I swapped out this morning - a much less twitchy/vague drive home.

Given me some motivation to get my own van back on the road, hopefully be in it next time!
