Techenders - 6th - 8th May. Who’s coming?

im sorry - im offended by that. not because im a veggie but the inconsistency of the egg and bacon layering! Bit of a tooth tickler that!

 

Got home OK deciding not to stop for the last bit from Oxford, where going off to Sainsburys got me petrol at 158.9p instead of 175p at the previous filling station on the A34, about a mile back.

I had a great weekend, glad I stayed the extra night for the chat round the burning barbecque .. (we discovered how to overload a Cobb , repurposing it as a fire pit. Eventually some plastic caught fire .. ) Fortunately a couple of cups of water poured over the correct places put out the external fire, and cooled the metal that had ignited the plastic. ..

This weekend seemed to be partly about people who fitted 123 distributors to Type 4's and then had mystery ignition issues.. Which I think came down to voltage drops on the positive power feed to the coil being higher resistance than a T1 by design, we looked over a schematic and the wire is a lot skinnier on the VW diagrams..

 

Home, safe and sound after a great weekend great to catch up again. Stopped off with @mcswiggs at the British Motor Museum on the way back just off the M40. Some nice vehicles to look at.

 

What an awesome 3 nights.
We really enjoyed ourselves fantastic company and we we're overwhelmed by the lovely comments about our loft conversion
Fitted 123 dizzy plus sorted front wheel bearing thanx to Mike & para.
Highlight of the weekend was @mikedjames pole danceing last night on Sarah's awning pole and guide ropes, pity we didn't get it on video.
