That's a matter of opinion.
What was wrong with your original?
I find it hard enough to get the battery in and out as it is - that would get right in my way (type-4 engine)

 

its on rivnuts so removed with 2 screws.

the amount of time the engine bay is moved slightly whilst I've been working in there and fallen on me..

That... is very common. It happens when the link on the end of the stay that holds the ends together isn't in the right place. If you posted, you would have got that info and saved yourself a job.
If you remove it to get the battery out... won't the lid fall down?

New loo, box and buddy seat have arrived, very happy with this. Came from Vanwurks, service and delivery were excellent.

 

Started to strip the tilts, bows and drop gates today.

It’s time to have a go at replacing the load bed.

This is going to be a big job but I’ve got to start somewhere.

On another note, the Maypole outdoor cover has done an excellent job at keeping the elements out.

It was totally dry under there bar a little condensation.

Took him for a romp to Stockbrokerbridge, where he was much admired.

big plans this year, hitting Europe in the van etc

its just some marks, I'm not too fussed, worse will happen again.. the bus is used every week, (away in it typing this)

so I'll take the door off and straighten it out and laugh at it in a few weeks time life goes on
