i used copex with stainless glands under my van.. worked a treat and keeps it tidy

I bought some of that years ago but it’s really heavy.
I was thinking to use 25mm OD split plastic conduit and another split conduit (25mm ID) around that to seal it. Should be well protected, light and yet easy to remove if required.

Whatever I do, even if wrapped in cellophane, it will be better than what was there.

I used some split conduit for mine which seems to work well.

 

Whistle clean under there ..did you use a underseal too ?

 

Oh yes, looks nothing like that now. 2 thick coats of Dynax UB under it.

 

I have bort it a lovely new set of Goodyear all season tyres for the next few seasons. I drove them down to the gariage & left them there. I can't get the van out as I have filled my wheelie bin with 150kg of coal & until I burn some of it, I can't shift the bloody thing!

 

Is that blue colour the Dynax UB or has it been painted over?
All looks great under there.

I’ll P-clip my conduit in place too.
