Fitted a new sticker

This one's actually quite useful, as pre 74 slider handle operation can sometimes seem counterintuitive to non VW nerds. I actually remember my OG slider* had a sticker exactly here but had been painted over by a PO, so presumably they came from the factory thus adorned.

* The original door was written off in an unfortunate incident involving a tractor and plough back in 1999. I replaced it with a rust free Aussie import courtesy of the insurance company - back when such things were readily available for relatively little money.

Done brakes .track rods , bump stops, copper lines,flexi’s callipers,pads,fittings steering damper

 

That is very, very nice.

 

Drive it here and back. This fat air makes it Rev nice.

 

Nice cool thick air does make them run better. 'Tis not an illusion.

It is yeah , iv no idea it was already painted wen i bought it but im gonna get it scanned as i need to do a few bits of shoddy bodywork that was done before they sprayed it( god knows why it wasn’t done properly in first place)

 

No, there was a different one apparently fitted on the inside - but I'm thinking only on buses with factory door cards on the slider (Devon did their own padded card). I'll post a pic later if I can find one.

Yep, you can buy the stickers from the usual places.

 

Finally finished installing the Chinese diesel heater,fired it up and it certainly gets warm in there now
