You must be chuffed. It is getting towards that exciting time of getting things back together again. Happy days eh?
All ready to go, didnt realise masking the swage lines would be such a job, as its quite undefined and difficult to see on the white, hung the cab doors to check alignment and avoid embarrassing mistakes after its fitted together. A rare action shot... Finished result, which I'm well happy with, just another session to do the other doors and the bolt on bits and pieces.
Great colour! All those hours sanding were worth it. Top work on the prep, I bet the painter enjoyed himself.
You're right there, said it was nice/rewarding to paint - (especially as he didnt have to prep it!) Thanks Owen, you might recognise it as a beetle/split colour - Sea Blue. Just a few of it outside, camera does'nt seem to pick out the green in the paint too well, or also the creamier version of the pastel white used, but I'm happy with it, just a shame I've already scraped the drivers door edge on the workshop wall - it'll touch in ok, but took less than 24 hours!

Loads of electrical gremlins sorted, but everything works as it should now. + probably loads of other its I've forgotten about. MOT'ing it on Friday, still some small jobs to do but it'll pass at the moment and allow me to get it taxed, then to start on the interior Pics to follow...
In no particular order, and I'm rubbish at taking photos... Mid progress through the roof scrubbing Propex in, Column bush New and old Reference measurements for shock absorber when extended/compressed
Where I'm up to now, I want to get some better pics once its been flatted, polished, given a clean and the sun is out! Edit - WANTED - I'm after 2 original cab door inner scrapers - rubber condition unimportant as I'm only after the fixing wire - fed up messing about with new stuff that does'nt quite fit. Its nearly there...
