Volksworld 2022

I had my first negative test C19 today and assuming I get another one tomorrow, then I hope to see some of you on Saturday. As the typical TLBer old/bearded/bald etc. take your pick, but I qualify in all 3 areas, I may not stand out immediately in a gathering of VW nutters, is there a plan to meet up?

 

Will be in the pub watching rugby on Saturday. Can’t remember the name of it but it’s the closest to the course. Green man?

There is often a 'meet up' plan at these events but for a variety of reasons it never happens ...

Me and a mate plus 2 kids (16 and 10) have a table outside booked from 6 til 10 pm. Shouldnt be too hard to find us if u or anyone fancies a pint. Will keep u posted. And it's the wheatsheaf (don't know where I got the green man from!).

I have a spare ticket for Friday now. My partner in crime has just tested positive for covid and cannot go. Probably means I won't be around Saturday evening either. I didn't book camping cos my mate only lives a mile away. Looks like I am going home Saturday evening now instead.
