Does anyone know where i can get one of these hinges. Mine sheared off at the weekend almost taking out someones eye!

Oops. Did somebody drive into something way back in the past with the poptop up to twist it ?. If you really had to you could get somebody to fabricate the hinge by welding pieces of metal together to make that subtle combination of flex and friction. Or for real expense, milled out of billet.. .
I'm pretty sure we've never hit anything in the 12 years we've had the bus. my guess is it's just old. i was thinking about replacing the whole roof but have been told the new ones aren't as good. I don't think we'll be using the hammocks for a while so i'll just keep it shut while we search for one.
