Did two seasons in Verbier. Tortin was the one. Did the wall a quite a few times without stopping. Biggest moguls I've ever seen! Couple of Elephant beers in Pascal's afterwards and all set up for the farm club later. This was the mid seventies when there were plenty of rich American ski bums in rented chalets just over for the season and the powder.
I’ve done it on skis and a board - early nineties. Haven’t been to verbier for donkey’s years. haven’t skied for a long time either!
Definitely can't ski like like that anymore. I now have trouble just trying to get up and put my skis back on after a tumble!
Morzine is good , La plan 1800 And sauze d'ouix Great mix of beginners to advanced All great to ski and apres ski is great to ease the pain
