Functionally I'd say That's not corrosion its eaten away it's the actual steel the dimensions of the part of the tube that was in the dip is now a mm or two smaller than the rest of the tube. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wouldn't trust it structurally now Owen It's eaten certain parts of it away a lot deeper than that I'd imagine they woul be the perfect place for stress cracks to start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Unsure if the tolerances are that tight are they? Is it a hollow tube or solid? I assumed a lot of the suspension is pig iron, not hardened steel of any level of super strength (trying to save you money here, if it's not critically damaged, don't replace).
The tube in Para's image is steel, you would bend or form pig iron into that shape it wouldn't cope with bending. By nature pig irons are very brittle, the steel tube in the arm will be ductile tube steel, with a yield stress low enough to take the bending and forming process, but high enough tensile stress to sustain loading in service.
It all depends on the wall thickness of the tube, Para suggests mm's have been eroded away which is going to reduce the effectiveness - I would probably swap it for a good one considering how the bus may be used when camping. How many buses are running about with worse corroded arms?
I've seen Spring plates snap due to corrosion but not an A arm There's no way I'm going to risk using it on my van! I'll replace it with a good second hand one and not leave it in the acid for weeks @davidoft do you have one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Our Spring Plates had corroded away around the splined boss and wouldn't have taken much to break them. Its not worth the risk on an a arm either. I think you have done right! eBay might have some, not looked though.
there was a chap on face book the other day that had sheared this part. his were quite badly rusted but if it was only 3/4mm tube to begin with and yours have been reduced / disoved by a mm then theres not an awful lot left im guessing.
