very happy with it. I'm just surprised he never spotted the dent in the lower panel before painting. the bumper will cover it anyway I think my next step will be to insulate the interior. Been reading up about how to do it and there's a bit of indecision about vapour barriers. anyone got a thread going of how to insulate without forcing condensation against the metal of the van?
Picked up a pair of porsche 924 seats that need a bit of work to the cloth. Leather is perfect though. I'm thinking cream in the centre but what kind of material? Leather? Leather and leather?
You can have alcantara scotch guarded, so easier to clean. Or don't use cream for the center. Use slightly lighter brown than rest of seats
Maybe yeah. I'd like to have it cream though. If I was to go leather I could mix it up a bit and go diamond stitched or pleated maybe
You defo want cream then. Id check with a few bus owners, how they find summer driving on leather seats for betty swollocks?
I spotted a major problem last night. I'll get a photo later to show what I'm talking about but y'know the clips under the windscreen that the dashboard top bolts to? Completely forgot to make up new ones when we replaced the inside repair panel! Should I weld and ruin some new paint or use some sort of bonding epoxy. I can't imagine there would be much weight on them
