Saw this earlier and amazed no one was killed... the thing she hit was pretty static. There was a horrible angle from one of the buildings opposite showed it very clearly. I do wonder where she lost control cos her closing speed was immense.
Testament to the safety improvements in modern racing to some extent. I guess that there will be a review of the halo again on the car she vaulted as that looked close to his head (even to say how wonderful it is) I think F1 have also done a lot of work on preventing cars from becoming airborne as well. I bet the FIA will look carefully at the use or design of temporary kerbs after this.
