    There is a story behind this one though….. but I’ll wait to tell it until I’m safely home and had a couple of stiff gins to calm my already shredded nerves! I’m not even out of Cornwall yet. It’s going to be a loooong day!!

    I miss my old Moggie and wish I'd never sold it. It was dark blue with white Minilite wheels and a Ford Ka leather interior, it also had a custom dash built with loads of dials in it :(

    Sounds lovely. I may well need to talk Moggies with you as I know nothing!
    This one is very very standard (basic!). Apparently it’s had a brake servo fitted, but lord know what it would’ve been like before; and that’s about it for ‘upgrades’. I can’t turn the heater off, there’s no passenger side door mirror, no hazard lights (hoping not to need them!!), and a very persistent smell of exhaust fumes! But hey, we’re past Exeter now, so only another 90 miles to go
    (and to be fair, I’m enjoying the adventure!)
    What’s with having a ‘crash gear’ for 1st, and synchromeshing the others??!
    Learning to double declutch at my age!!

    Sounds like great fun. I know an awful lot more about Moggies than I do buses, every last nut and bolt on them. If we ask @Merlin Cat nicely I'm sure she'll post a picture of Sarahs beautiful convertible
