One thing we get calls for a fair few times a week is the brake pressure load regulator, they seem to not be available from anywhere.
Malc, you say don't diss the thread - I really wouldn't and without wanting to sound like a local yoot from where I used to live - your LT50 is bad ass! Mrs PT2 showed me and the breadknife around it and it's something else and has everything you'd ever need - apart from lead filled paint for the occasional nuclear fall out episode! Definitely a fantastic bit of kit.

Sooner or later the LT will have the same appeal as the bay as time goes on as they get more scarce ...look how the bay has taken off in popularity compared to the split , in price as well . the younger ones to us may well start buying them as they will be cheaper ....once they get cherished they will never get scrapped .
I doubt that, mainly and simply due to the fact they are not a very well supported range of vehcile and spares can already be tricky to source. They are ideal for the more Savy and technically compitant but most will be put off by the rarity of parts to support them.
I meant because we are a bay based forum. I know we are quite a cosmopolitan lot re VW's, but sometimes when some see something like the LT write up they wonder why it would be on a bay forum. Luckily we can discuss most things on here. People seem genuinely interested in all sorts of dubs and conversions on tlb.
I think what will stop them, in addition to @Alex VW Heritage wise words, is the sheer size of the things - can't put one in any standard sized garage which makes fixing them hard and they don't fit in most standard size car park spaces so they are a commitment to use frequently. I guess bay's are more convenient simply because of their size, though I think pretty much anyone that camps a lot would love the extra size of an LT. They look like they drive like a truck - do they?
