@1973daisey Hey, these photos are a great help for my auto to manual conversion, I don't suppose you can tell me where you got the clutch cable tube from can you?? I noticed you didn't have the clutch pedal bracket on your chassis, thankfully mine did which has saved me a bit of ballache, weird! Cheers, deano.
Pretty sure it's just 10mm steel tube any where really local steel company near me walked in and think I got it from there scrap pile for £2 and i still got a tiny bit left !! It fits into the Bowden cable at the gearbox ! Schofields if your at a struggle but will add scene tax on even try e bay 1st !! The long gearbox tube has to be schofields think it's in the split catalog but fits bays !! Call them !! If u need to pop down or I can take some closer photos for u no problem
Well after we found out how to put it up lol took about 6/7 of em at t/e one pole has been replaced bits to big I was gonna try repair it matey but will report back !! Cheers dude
Awesome thanks! BUT errr the "Long Gearbox Tube" What is this?? I've got the shift rods don't they just go in it looks like they do??
The auto one is cut short buddy it needs to go right to the back to support the shift rod bushes !! I think my old one came out pretty easy !!
No problem at at dude here is a few pics of the length the short 1 has cable out the end for the auto shifter!! Think £20 came to mind but I had to call them and local steel place never had the diameter any were !!
Ha, nice one mate I just sent you a PM, I've ordered the tubes off of Schofield, handy as, thanks for the tip!
