  11. The rear brakes have lasted well then
The condition of some of the rear brakes I've seen on busses is scary
Mine weren't terrible but I wanted to get them to a good standard so they hopefully stay good for years to come.
My brand new back plates had corrosion on them out of the box

  13. Mine are genuine ones aswell
Nice and thick like you said
I was just miffed about them starting to corrode before they were even fitted.
They should last well now since being painted in tractor enamel
I daubed paint into the small gaps between the pressings in a bid to keep moisture out.
When you come to fit yours make sure to use sealant between the bearing carrier and back plate.
If you don't crud gets between them and holds moisture which rots them out from the centre.
You can just make out the sealant in this pic.

That rust is also flying along

Would you not have been better to use grease of something rather than sealant?

  16. Grease would get washed away over time

  17. ?????

Along the bottom of the wheel arch. Looks like rust anyway

  19. No rust in those arches
There's some seam sealant that didn't get removed before it was painted.
