Yes and I’ve lived here as well since 1976 when I swam over from Oz. Windmill Hill is the other side of town from us, I’m almost on the A420 which is the road to Wick, Marshfield and then Chippenham. I worked for a cable company for a bit and went into Frome quite a bit and Warminster Melksham and Trowbridge, it was my first foray into direct sales, very illuminating Ozziedog,,,,,,plus I got my very own ring road here too

Yes, quite a while before the drive for climate change took the city charges regional. My gut feel is that they'll have another look as the numbers of historic vehicles has increased, maybe starting with the current exemptions to existing and proposed city charges.

Yes I do. Loads of rich/ influential/ government types have lots of old classic cars. They won't want to be paying a year's road tax on them all! I've had about 20 years of tax free so far. Long may it continue. Historic vehicles should also be exempt from charges to enter cities and low emmision zones. I accept our buses may kick out a bit more pollution than modern vehicles, but in terms of lifetime pollution created, its better to keep vehicles on the road as long as possible
