“New” EV microbus

    Like all these things. 260HP electric motor with how many horsepower-hours battery .. probably about 100. (75kWH) .. so flat out its 20 mins driving.

  3. But WHAT a 20 minutes you’d have!

    to be fair, most of our lot are only ever 20 minutes away from having to stop anyway - some for an urgent repair, some just for a wee.
     
  4. I wonder if you can have a dummy dizzy fitted as an optional extra, so people can still satisfy their obsession with tinkering.......

    You will replace the overheating Pertronix with a battery coolant fault warning ...

    Then spend ages charging it up because it almost certainly will not be fitted with a high power charger.

    It would be fine on an empty panel van I guess.
    I'd be interested too read the final curb weight after the conversation.
    I can never remember the guys name who did the split in the US with his own power bank and solar at home that had good range If I recall.
