I am the 3rd owner. Very original condition, full resto and respray in 2012 with many new panels and window seals throughout. New roof canvas. Opening Qtr windows, Immobiliser, JK rev counter. Lots of history, 1600cc with alternator conversion, 1800 gearbox for taller 4th gear,100amp leisure battery, 80 watt Bosch solar panel and split charge. Hook up,Waeco compressor fridge (£500) with auto switching dual supply (£80). I still have the original cool box to revert to original condition but the fridge conversion is great. Original cab hammock in great condition. Comes with Reimo Tunnel Awning (with inner tent). This is all we have used with it, lightweight and easy. Amazingly the van still has its factory original Westfalia Safari Awning. We have never got it out of the bag due to the tunnel type being more practical for us with two kids. Rear seat belts fitted. Tax and MOT exempt. Great condition, always garaged. Its 47 years old and will inevitably need future TLC priced sensibly. Offers around £13k. Sorry no timewasters, serious enquiries only due to Covid 19 social distancing. Available evenings and weekends. Location - Middlesbrough. Email - adams.jeremy@sky.com
That’s a very neat fridge installation retaining the door! Does it still have the water tank behind there?
It doesn't, though i think he still has the tank in the garage. A smaller water tank could fit behind the passengers seat i assume.
Owner he bought it from had owned it since 1973 when it was 6 months old. Real nice condition as it'd had loads of work done and a respray.
