This is Ula, my 1974 Bay Window Devon Conversion Camper. I bought her in April 2012. When I bought her, she had the most horrendous front axle break, and had been off the road for 12 years! She had a few bodywork issues and a few problems underneath. Since then she's had: • Australian Front Axle fitted • New Clutch • New Break Pipes and Cylinders • New Master Cylinder • New Fuel Lines • X2 New Front Section Wheel Arch • O/S Front Wheel Arch • X2 O/S Outer Sill + Inner Sill • X2 Front Outriggers/Jacking Point • N/S Rear Outrigger • New Gear Rod Linkage • Track Rod & Suspension Boots • X2 Front Shock Absorbers • New Anti-Roll Bar • Steering Damper • New Battery • Wax Oiled She drives beautifully, runs through the gears with no problems and sits quite well in modern day traffic. The gutters are perfect and she is very straight. In the photographs you can see the two rear corners need replacing but it's barely anything. One side of her has been blown over, and the other side is yet to be done. I don't really want sell her but being a musician I can't afford to keep her YOU WILL BE HARD PUSHED TO FIND ONE THAT RUNS LIKE HER! Perfect engine, just recently had a tune up. I hit 63mph and their best is usually 55mph She has the original interior (No rear seat cushions/foam), working gas cooker, sink (requires electric or manual pump), original front seats, Sony CD player, underneath is beyond solid, and, when the rear corners are done, she'll be completely RUST FREE and one of the best on the road! She has 11 Months MOT and 5 Months Tax. MOT: NO advisories on MOT. Failed 1st one in 12 years due to: Handbrake efficiency being below requirements and the Nearside track rod end ball joint had excessive play. The retest had nothing else noted.
