  6. Yeah I am hoping to do so. Ive got a huge roll of laminate, its pretty much the same but without the knots. Not sure whether to use this, shell out for some NLAVW westy replica or scout the classifieds for original bits of better condition furniture. All this aside my priority is to enjoy the camper with my kids and not spend too much time attending to my OCD lol

  7. The seats pads had huge crosses cut in the fabric on both bottom and back pads. The PO had ripped out the original padding through the hole and then STUFFED the seats with foam and then made a lazy attempt at trying to sew the seat fabric back.. It didnt work LOL. Ive got new covers, horse hair pads, sisal, wadding. The seats are off for blasting and painting before I re-cover them

  8. Can't beat abit of auto and a Berlin!

  9. Very nice looking westy. :)

  10. Yeah really pleased with it. Thanks everyone :) once I've got the rocker arm issue solved I'll start adding resto pictures.

  13. Slow progress but I've replaced cv boots. Not long before MOT [IMG]

  14. [IMG] also new table

    [IMG] seats re-done

[IMG] 10000 jobs on the go. Replaced wash tank and all the tubing, trying to get all the old glue off the cab area before putting down new matts. sound proofing, door cards, Window mechs, new seals, headlining the list goes on

  15. Looks great and your refurbishment of the seats looks great to someone who also needs to do this :D Where did you get the new covers, horse hair pads, sisal and wadding? Also did you import this yourself from USA or?

  16. Got the covers and horse hair pads from Schofields. The covers had NLAVW tags on so I guess they supply Schofields.

I used hessian instead of sisal and bought some cheap wadding, both off eBay.

The job itself was horrible, the bottoms were ok but the seat backs changed shape and needed flexing back, the horse hair pads didn't hold in position, the covers were almost impossible to get on, tore both, bought some more vinyl to remake the torn covers.

  17. Fancy doing mine then @gazcbm :p? Cheers for info and keep up the good work
