Thought I would put it on here if anyone is interests? Any questions ask away. Andy 2004 Red VW Bora TDI sport 130bhp High Spec. FSH, 174,000miles drives really well, surprisingly torquey yet economical. 50+mpg! Tax’d until the end of august. Mot’d until mid October. This bora has been well looked after during my owner ship and before me it has clearly been a company car that has done mainly motorway miles. It has got full service history with the long life intervals before me (every 25,000miles). Since I have owned it I have put it to the lower service intervals of 10,000miles. It was recently been serviced in May at 173,248miles and has little use since then. It has 18" alloys that were on the car when I brought it, not to everyone’s taste but they do fill the arches well so I left them. I have put excellent tyres on all round (Hankook Ventus S1 Evos) if you know tyres you will know these have great reviews! All have good tread the front tyres have only done a 1000 odd miles. Recently it has had two new wheel bearings. I have only owned the car for a couple of years but since I have owned it, it has always had anything it needs. This includes a new battery, part of the exhaust, front anti roll bar bushes, replacement steering rack, the list goes on! The Cambelt (and kit) and Water Pump were replaced shortly after I brought the car at 146,277miles on the 26/3/2011. Inside the car has the sports interior which is in good condition as you can see in the pictures. Bolsters are all good. It is a high spec model, it has cruise control fitted, factory fitted sat nav (although I don’t have a disc I am afraid), Cd changer in the boot, ESP and climate control. I have also installed a custom ipod/iphone hook up in the glove box – see the picture. I will show the new owner how it works but it switches between the cd changer and the ipod. Also charges your ipod or iphone. It has an aftermarket Bluetooth handsfree kit installed as well. Don’t let the millage put you off the car drives exceptionally well. Its got great power but is very economical for a sporty diesel! This is a reluctant sale however we need a car we can get a dog in the back as well as all the baby stuff that we will be needing soon as the Mrs is about to pop and this isn’t a hatch back! Shame as it has plenty of space in the back and has isofix anchor points. Now the not so good bits. I will be completely honest as every car has some! I have tried to show photos. The drivers wing mirror has a cracked plastic. Because the car has done a lot of motorway miles there is a few stone chips on the front. There is a little bent in the side of the boot lid next to the OSR light. It only has one key. The aircon will need a re-gas. Was working fine last summer but I didn’t use it over the winter and the system has no gas in, sure a re-gas will sort this however as I am sure you can appreciate I didn’t want to spend more money on a car I am selling. I have been completely honest as I like to treat potential buyers how I would like to be treated. Viewing is encouraged and recommended! Test drives are welcome with appropriate insurance.
