its 3ft 12inch wide, so each wheel arch is around 6inch wide. this has been towed by my campervan with the camping equipment.

Nick the wheel arch's do bolt off if that's any good to you.

 

Sadly I've not got much over 3ft down my side way and so I need a trailer that is about 3ft wide including the wheels - and I'm struggling to find one as all 3ft ones seem to refer to the width of the load area rather than the overall width.
