Yes, its the same internals as a Dometic/weico CR50 it works on the battery on 12v then when hooked up it automatically switches to 24v
Pete from Vision Upholstery Church Stretton has made the rear seats look great with a bit of Brazilian leather
you could setup up a little shop making these - i'd love one but i dont' have the skills to do my own.
The cool box is bolted in Im using it as a chest fridge, its an Isotherm GE80 kit, with the cool box it came in a little cheaper than a Weico cr50 although its 65 litres a bit bigger than the stand alone fridge as the guts are remote, will go down to the temperature of a freezer so if I go fishing I can get some home.
I love the interior of your bus It looks right for the vehicle is understated and classy and also practical. Will you be fitting a fold out cooker on the swing out doors?
I made the table on the door to take one of those canister gas cookers, its a 2 person thing really so you can always put it on the table as well, curtains tomorrow clean and its done
In a scientific test I half filled the fridge and put it on so it was icy not normal fridge cold to get the beer really chilled , only on the aux battery, At regular intervals assisted by passing neighbours I reduced the amount in the fridge, also had the light and radio on periodically, considring that its red hot out and it was from a warm start I was pleased to find that the fridge stayed on continually for 50 hrs., If I was to get it v cold on the mains first and use ice packs, turn it off at night i think a long 3 day weekend on the battery is doable.
I see a market in making these to sell. Might try one in a westy built in cool box. Did you seal the pipes into the cool box with expanding foam?
