WANTED A list of things that I would like for my 72 (Feb) crossover

Hi all

Here's a list of some bits I need just in case anyone has them lying around for a reasonable price, please.

Inner door handles for both drivers door and passenger door

Fuel cap lock

Back lock and key for the tail gate

The rubber mats for the wheel archs in the cab ( well you never know)

The catch for the table ( the catch that goes on the opp side to sliding door to rest /clip table too

And last ( and if I can afford it) a tow bar..................

I will be on the look out in the future but not this month -for a roof rack but go on the front of a devon pop top, a mesh visor ( Mick wants it for the front of Ollie I am still undecided)

One of those steps that go on the side under the sliding door ( you never know again)

Louve window

I am looking for the bigger items to be reasonably local ...................however there are times I get up Shefield/ Birmingham/Newcastle way but only in the centres..................

I am gathering things in bit by bit, although the new engine and bits go in in Feb all the other welding starts in September...........then by doing this 'hoarding' I will hopefully gather everything in ready to limit and spreading the cost of the bus I would like ..................

 

I have a tow bar and some spare bits of deluxe trim, straights only, no corners.
Do you mean the pull handles or the opening ones?

 

I also have a tow bar with electric bits, I'll probably have a pic in page 1 or 2 of my resto thread. It's the one that allows the bumper to sit close, and it's been powder coated black.

handles to pull the door shut - I only want the delux to run down the sides of the bus not the front and back ............

PM me please TBR and let me know what you are asking for the trim thank you. If carl has a tow bar I might buy that off him when he's ready as he's near me but thank you

By "fuel cap lock" do you mean a locking fuel cap?

@Row , check under your bus at the back, see whether the towbar bolts on the bottom of the chassis rails or the sides.
Mine is sides and I think Carl's is bottom mount.
The door handles (if I can find them) you can have FOC, the trim -I'll let you know what's left over when I've done mine.

 

Check out @vwed for locking cap. I've had a couple of these off him and are quality product. Just about to contact him for one myself if they will fit the crewcab

 

Yeah mine mounts to the bottom of the rails. I'll let you know row, will prob be a month or two before I decide to sell.
