accelerator pedal and link bar which end is which?

  1. I have this type of accelerator linkage, which sits in the recess in the floor (RHD)

    the thing is, I dont know which end connects to the cable and which end connects to the pedal....until I know I cant install it....and so I cant install my accellerator pedal!!

    I would have thought this end was for the cable?

    can any one confim which end is which?

  3. cheers snotty....but not really :lol:

    I've seen those diagrams before but cant really make out the detail of which end is which in them :( I think mine looks closest to the top left diagram, but the end of the rod/linkage both look the same in the pic

    forgot to say, the van in a 1972 crossover
     
  4. Mines the middle left one and the nut end is the cable / through floor end

    .....next question, how do I make sure the pedal is in the right position before I fit the bracket to the floor :D
     
  9. Mine had a square hole so could only go in one place
