Ankor Wax - Any good?

  1. My van is patina.....i like it like this and have no plans to have it slick and shiny in the future, in fact the rattier it looks the more i like it.......BUT i'm aware of the dangers of letting the tinworm get too much of a foothold, so i'm looking at products that i can apply topically to keep it from becoming a basket case and someone has suggested Ankor Wax as the answer to my prayers.
    Anyone used it?

  2. I've not used it yet, but I'll be getting some to try at some point as a local supplier stocks it!! Loads of the rat look splitty guys rave about it!!

  3. Terrordales

    Terrordales Nightshift

All our friends with rat vans/beetles rave about it, best thing since sliced bread is their general opinion.

  4. The guy who painted my bus put this in the gutter, at least what he told me he did, collected loads of dirt and turned black-ish not great when you have a yellow bus!! ****ing awful stuff to get rid of, but that wont matter if you always want the rat look. I believe you have to apply it regularly for best effect.

  5. yes good stuff but you will never be able to paint the bus without baremetaling the thing once you use it

  7. This. Paint reacts to it before you get it out of the tin!
