http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-Dr...t=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item19da4446ff I want to cut circles in metal ,is this the right thing?
That will do the job, or if you have a compressor you could get the air nibbler for similar money. You could use a jigsaw with the right blade in, but you would need clearance behind what your cutting. I've not used one of these but imagine it being the same as my air nibbler, just remember to sweep all the bits up before you lay in them. Sharp little nasties!
Yes, I've got one kicking around somewhere. Practice first as they can chatter like a b*****d if your work material can vibrate, and you really need both hands for the tool . As previously mentioned the swarf is vicious stuff so wear gloves.
Got a link to you air nibbler? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SILVERLIN...Air_Tools_and_Compressors&hash=item20d89ddaca like this?
This is mine: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cat63-air-nibbler?da=1&TC=SRC-air nibbler Same thing as the one in your link, but hopefully last a bit longer. Got it on one of the Vat free days and claimed Vat back, so cheap enough. Breezes through 1mm, you can go thicker, but I found you had to have the full recommended pressure to get it started. Keeping it oiled up helps.
