anyone know difference in speed vs tyre ratio's

    Does anyone know what the likely drop in speed would be at 3000 revs in going from a standard 14 inch OEM tyre to a 195/60x15 tyre?

    cheers Matty - nice tool (not you buddy, the tyre calculator!) - 6% drop in speed, 56 instead of 60mph.

    We did this experiment on our Westy - yoko 195/65 x 15 tyres all round - at 60mph speedo reading we got 57mph on works calibrated equipment!

    195/70/15 is as close to 185/14 as you can do to standard
