Asbestos in heating system?

so what's going in it's place??? I'm taking my exchangers off at some point too.

 

No worries just wanted to make sure people realise asbestos really is a killer and not to be complacent.

 

Some experimenting to do but Plumbers Soldering mat has been suggested - see other thread in tech.

 

im sure your right to be concerned, when i looked at my flexi tubes the collars looked dodgy...

 

I had artex in my front room just scraped it back and had it plastered over , it's only white asbestos and very little like 5% so I doubt that heat exchangers in a bay have a lot in them but I bet it's is there
