It’s a sopru roof. What parts do you need, I’ve got the rollers for sale which I had made.

For the roof vent you can try g’day kombies I think they are called based on oxford. For the metal struts. No chance! Someone on here had some springs made recently but can’t remember who.

Out of curiosity, are the struts tubular or flat bar ?

@sANDYbAY had some made a while back. I think it was just done as a group buy.

I got replacements for my home made ones from Australia and they had tubular and flat bar .... I copied what was already fitted....seems I was wrong!
On a plus note I tested them on holiday...45mph with roof up ... no issues.

What roof light? You referring to the vent?

If you need fabric look for local sailing upholstery. Worked a treat on mine.

You might need to give them a call. I have a feeling you can buy new for not much money. @Baysearcher do you remember where from?

Can’t remember off the top of my head but I’ll have a think. Would have been someone like G’day though.

I got my rooflight/vent from a man in a barn en route back from Devon..but it was 10 years ago.... remember the guy had 2 sorts, one plain, and one with VW embossed on it.
I wish now that I'd found a way to fit a small modern caravan roof vent as they come with fly screens and blinds...and should be easier to obtain.

I’m pretty sure mine came from Exeter but I can’t remember who from.

I've re-done the Supra poptops a couple of times
Flat Bar scissors are a bit stronger than the tube bar ones, be careful
The skylite vent bits are obtainable but hard to get
Better off with a small marine hatch

Hadn't thought about looking on boating suppliers, the caravan ones are all a bit too big.

G’day kombies would blank off the vent so they had loads of caps.

Good work on finding the roller on eBay, I didn’t and ended up getting loads made up.

  20. Proper bearing roller correct diameter, I think it might have been a mil narrower but did the job fine
