As nobody would get on the back, don't know why? I took the pillion seat off and put a £20 dewalt tool chest on it, price of proper top boxes was£££££££ especially the old ones.
It’s not all about speed It’s for the off road weekend adventures Like the landy boys , Right we are going to set off from here, Get up to our necks in that peat bog Then try to get to the top of that hill through a muddy forest and cross the trout infested river , And hopefully get a puncture and breakdown Get a group photo in the pouring rain for the instagram page
I'd be with you were driving standards better. I'd prefer to be able to go fast if I want over having some donut mow me down in a 20 mph zone as I can't go any faster. We had a young lad on a moped killed on the A38 a few years back as an artic didn't see him coming up a slight incline on the slip road and enter the carriageway at 30mph. Fast bikes are safer.
Looks very nice I’ve got myself a Honda Innova (125). I was looking at Honda Melody’s but there’s a bit of a hill and bend where I live and a 60 mph straight that I have to turn Right off. I thought I may get rear ended going 20 mph so bottled the Melody
Fast bikes in the right hands no problem, Motorcycling in the Uk is definitely hard core nowadays, There’s a lad near me with a panagale He hoons up the built up streets at warp speed I’m just waiting for the thud , Chancing his luck with the ever increasing amount of elderly drivers we have here who’s field of vision is equal to looking through two toilet roll tubes
Really nice bike , especially like the chrome exhaust .Low miles and looks great condition. I am very envious
I’ve maybe mentioned on the odd thread or two , that I’d had a hankering for a Cub, c90, clunk, chicken chaser, etc etc etc but couldn’t believe the prices they’ve soared too. They along with beautiful examples like you’ve aquired seem to have their own unique romanticism very similar to air cooled VWs. I’ll keep my head down and keep up the search for something as nice as you’ve got. That looks great and it’s so good it’s almost a shame to put miles on it. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,it’s a beaut
The Honda Cub is the ultimate classic bike. Over my lifetime they have sold squillions of them, all over the world, and never changed them. I’m currently in Japan, and they are everywhere, looking just the same of course. The universal affordable get to work bike, I quite fancy restoring an old one, I think there may even be a Sport version.
To be fair Im only going to use it for tatting around the lanes, I have had me fair share of quick bikes, my biking history started in 77 and went,mr50 motorcross kh250, dt175,gs1000, gsxr750 x2 ,cbr600, zzr1100, fireblade, 916. I rode them for a job for a bit vfr750's then 8oo's
