Well this is something i thought i`d never do!!
This lovely van has been my pride and joy since 2007. It was imported from Australia in 2006, we bought it from the chap who imported it a year later in 2007. He had planned to restore it himself but decided to sell it to raise some funds. I do have a couple of pictures of it before the restoration was started. In late 2007 and into early 2008 we had the bodywork, interior and mechanics restored - culminating in it being our wedding vehicle in may 2008. Over the last five years its been away with us many times and travelled lots of trouble free miles - once to the south of France. We now have two young children (one 3, the other 10 months) and we have unfortunately grown out of this camper - we also own a late bay window with a pop top and this will become our family camper once we have found a new home for this one. Over the years of our ownership we have maintained the camper meticulously with regular servicing. I have loads of history that will go to the new owner including receipts totalling over £22k (including the cost of the van), obviously we are the first owners since it was given its age related plates in 2008 by worcester DVLA. We also have the letter from VW confirming the date the vehicle was produced. It is 1972 so is tax exempt. Below i have just written a brief summary .....

    Exterior

Resprayed in 2007/2008 to VW marina blue and VW pastel white , it is a deluxe model so has the belt line trim, side opening window in rear, boot safari window (made by bluebird customs, fitted 2008), bumpers with over riders front and rear, rear safety star that lights with the brake lights, foosh polished alloy wheels with "Mr Whitewalls" supplied whitewall tyres, narrowed front beam and lowered suspension all round, 3/4 length stainless steel roof rack

    Interior

Kustom interiors bulkhead unit fitted 2008 with 3 cupboards and a drawer, the unit has been sprayed to match the colour of the van, full width rock and roll bed, front buddy seat fitted between the two front seats, all trimming done by customcoachtrimming in evesham along with the carpets in the front, headlining etc Alpine IPOD stereo with IPOD/IPHONE cable in glove box and four speakers.
