Beetle - Completed restoration in a one car garage

Discussion in 'Show Us Your Bit On The Side' started by jaspervan, Mar 9, 2013.

  1. This beetle has been owned by my parents for as at least the last 25yrs. It was used as thier only vehicle for most of this time, however when they moved house 10yrs ago they bought a newer car and the beetle was resigned to trips to the tip and also as shelter for bags of cement which were piled up inside and deteriorated from there, it has been sorn for at least the last 7 years and over the last 2/3 years my dad has been completing it's restoration alone in his single car garage. ALL work has been done by him with help only from me and my mum (which mostly involved holding things and making gallons of coffee!)

    Heres the garage:

The roof is open in the last pic which is why it is not laying flat.
Time to get him to start on my van I think!
