I need to replace the brass part that's snapped Or the part itself which is vw part 28209/1 Any Ideas? Cheers
If not tried yet? Mega-bug are good for stuff such as that> can be worth a phone call if its not on their website.
First off that part number is not correct. VW part numbers are 9 digit numbers often with a suffix letter as well. I would expect that to be more like 113 415 600 ish. The number you quote would be the component manufacturer's own number. If you tell me the year of manufacture of your Beetle I'll see if I can determine the correct part number for you as a starting point.
stick it up your ass for all the good it'll do lol! went in to vw for parts for my lt and t4 and they were really helpful, i know they're not oldies, but they might be able to help, cant harm to ask? i'm sure it'll help break the tedium of searching for the same old side light for grannies polo!
Can you not solder it back on? Failing that, feed the part number into VW Classics in Germany. They might have one in the shed.
Yes. Just got to find the part lol It seems a much better design as its those new style block connectors
Fixed that side of things Just need to find why the steering column isn't grounding. Then the horn WILL work lol
