I need some bits for my beetle please, here is a list of what I need and any item you may have will be of interest to me. It is a 73 1200A with pre 67 sloping wings, bonnet and engine deck. Bits that I need some time soon are-- Ash tray. front seats - black basket weave to replace the cloth ones I have. I have a few dash switches missing. so any considered. front heater control box. Deck and bonnet seals -pre 67 Wing seals. Although this comes on a roll for about £12 and new would be better. boot/bonnet carpet and board. Door check straps. Rear inner vent plastic covers. Roof rack. Original window winder handles - black Door cards black. black inner flitch carpet pieces. Aerial. Radio of the period. I am just asking in case you have some of these items knocking around and would like shot of them at some point. There is no rush, the bug runs and works as it is and some of the items above are on it and just need replacing- again, at some point. so this list is reference for me and others to check over. What switches do u need. I've got most for seventies bugs you can have. Bearing in mind that the heater control box will occupy two switch holes on the dash

No problem. Don't get talked into buying loads of stuff. Most schools can access local authority stores or youth services and borrow really good bags, tents, waterproofs, fuel bottles and more. If it ends up as a one off all the expense can be avoided. Some schools even build up their own kit bank. If it is £140 just for the expedition I suspect that is what is happening unless they are hiring a coach to transport a large group.
