My other car is a BMW! Not sure it this is allowed (!) but there we go... Spent the last year replacing every worn part, dash trim for carbon, anything rubber which had perished, alternator, pwr steering pump, shocks, disks, bearings, other interior trim bits, new wheels. Shes goes like a train.... now she has a late bay for company.... AM I
worked at BMW dealer for 9 years till last May in the workshop, good motors 2·8' E46 way more robust than New rubbish, just watch your rear springs and trailing arm bushes,. they tend to get through rear springs, bottom coil breaks.
yeah had both rear springs go (forgot about that!) have used the reinforced rear shock turrets as well....
