I'm sure someone else must have done this but I can't find anybody willing to offer business insurance on a bay. I want to keep a classic policy for the agreed value. I'm hoping that's not true but I think you may be right Seems a little odd as I find it difficult to understand why it would make much of a difference on a limited mileage policy. Might have to go to plan B, don't really want to give up the agreed value
Classic insurance is for vehicles that aren't used for business in that way, what events would you be towing too, just vw shows?
Yeah that's the plan, just the vw shows and only a handful at that. The camper would be the ideal solution as otherwise we'd be staying in a tent! I don't think it's worth losing the agreed value over though, I thought it may be a fairly common thing but I guess people either don't declare it or are happy with "market" value
Well your insurance covers you for travelling to shows for pleasure, maybe if you park the van up and work from the trailer it's fine, there must be plenty of people travelling to shoes to trade, I would call your insurer and ask and explain that your travelling to the show for the show and will be trading within the show.

Is it worth asking someone who does or has done this before? Not sure if they can help but maybe worth contacting dogs n dubs as they ran a bus & pulled a trailer to shows etc. Hope you get it sorted dude...
