do you have the skill involved to "do one up" a lot depends on budget and the timeframe you have, some on here have been "doing up" for years...... good luck searching - plenty on evil bay but watch out for dodgy ones, feel free to pop any up for advice if you need help.
Hi ya,yes I'm capable of doing 90% of the work, not scared of a challenge,the Viking that sold on here recently would have been ideal for us as its our dream model! Missed out on one on flea bay earlier on today,offered the asking price but so did someone else before me, I'm sure when we get one ill be asking for advise with things,we won't be going for show standard etc as we have 4 children and just want one that we can make our own and use as much as possible Cheers
you could say that mine found me, considering 18 hours after id even considered looking for a bus id bought it... but my advice... DONT buy one you havent physically seen..
That saying is true.....! I've had 21 different air cooled vw's over the years, but hadn't had one for about 8, before I got the massive itch again. Looked at a few on the bay, which were not very good, for big money.... Then I stumbled across this site and found the white one further down the page, literally less than a mile from my house! And it's a good un! Good luck with the search..... I don't know what your like as a person, but I find knocking on doors and asking the owners if they are thinking about selling has worked for me in the past. Some are just waiting for the final push to sell, and you might be it!
Hopefully mine will find me soon then! We only have a small budget of £1500 but have seen a few go recently for that so were hopefull that something will come up sooner rather than later Cheers

Mine found me alright it was on the look out for a numpty with way too much cash and an idle life> it said" buy me ,you will be forever skint ,busy (repairing me)nervous ,edgy ,friendless,(unless you join TLB) you will age dramatically and badly pubs /beer will be but a memory ,girls it said ,luv campers and camper owners but your too old so..........".soI did ,I bought it ,and yup it was correct!and you would have thought I would have been suspicious ..a talking bus?
