Right o' had a few people ask me for help on door cards etc, and some asking for how to's on door cards and seat covers etc etc. so here goes part 1. Door Cards. You will need: About 5m of cream vinyl, 4m of white vinyl, 3 cans of spray glue 35m of 6mm piping cord A piping foot for sewing machine 5m of 3mm scrim foam 3m of 6mm scrim foam start with your roll of vinyl, lay face down on the floor, and use something square to get a nice square starting point. then trim off the crooked end. now you've a nice square edge to start from.. mark a chunk at 40cm, youll need about 8x40cm sections if your doing a whole set of door cards.. once you have your sections of vinyl.. lay them face up on a table and using a bit of wood, mark out your pleats. I use a old bit of bed frame which is 6.5cm thick. ta-da.. now.. lay your foam 'scrim' down on the floor, and use some adhesive to glue the vinyl to the foam. once glued, cut round the edge. repeat this for all 8 bits.
