i'm suffering bad insomnia recently as i've got some crap going on so i'll be up even earlier i guess... been awake at 3.30 for a good few weeks now and can't get back off for hours then just as i feel tired i have to get up for work.
that sounds poo - I hope you manage to get some sleep. I'm hoping to have an extra hour of sleep too - currently getting around 8 hours a night, but still completely knackered
i've not had 8 hours for ages i'm lucky if i get 4 then a 2 hour session of tutting and getting annoyed at myself before another hour and waking up knackered
no how you feel rick , im same , 3hrs max for last 3 years unless i take the juice or knock out pill. so o joy i get an extra hour less sleep
Put a radio 4 play on I player. Volume just high enough so that you can hear it if you don't fidget. That usually works for me. A drop of lavender on your pillow too. Not too much as it acts as a stimulant if you use too much.
ah you just reminded me erm , my aroma thera pist used ta crash me out , i need one of them , and you rick it was heaven not sure about radio 4 thou
radio plays are great. i used to keep radio 4 on low when i was in student digs, but if i woke in the night it'd freak me out; i thought i was being burgled by posh people!
Mass confusion in the morning then, trying to work out what clock is correct, have they changed on their own etc lol

grand prix starts at 9.30 and build up at 8.30 i will have that on my mind as well so i don't miss it - not that i would ever wake up that late but it will still make me think during the night.
of course i am! though i have listened to recording of the goons and have copies of 'round the horn' somewhere
My little one normally enjoys listening to the little noises, he wasn't too impressed with qualifying though.
Round the Horn is too good to fall asleep to I sleep well now but at times when I couldn't I found a nytol and a wee dram knocked me out ok. Sometimes its not the going to sleep, its waking in the night and having summat on your mind. Last year I was losing lots of sleep cos of crap going on at work, I'd lie for hours, stewing and getting angry about what was going on, until I found the solution.....I left.
I here were you re coming from guys, been sleeping like a strobe at a ruddy rave. Dogs n kids are gonna be confused the morra.
Clock changes dont make much difference to my life as i dont have any particular routine nowadays Life just sort of goes along and i try my best to follow along with it
