ive got a problem with the carbs leaking there su carbs is there anyone local to me on here that could take a look at it for me ?

 

su's are pretty simple, where you based?

bit far from portsmouth, chances are its a float issue, if it has brass floats sometimes the solder fails and they fill up with fuel and throw it out the top

 

thanks davidoft i will take a look in the morning im sure its not much of a job i think your right in saying its the float

 

check the oil level in them SU carbs do all sorts of strange things if the oils low

That's lovely. It's almost identical to one used in an episode of The Professionals (although they used false plates on everything in that TV programme). It doesn't have a secret compartment in the dash for a revolver, does it?
