@lhu1281 standard is 6mm so 6 to 8 mm should be fine.

I ran hard fuel line P clipped across the firewall and did the last 20cm or so in hose...may be worth thinking about...even swaged it with Olives each end

 

Facet pre filter with 6mm barb... takes an 8mm hose fitting on threaded end £6 on feabay if you get stuck
