As usual the guys with all the nice bits ‘know’ what they are worth! He had 3 pairs of ambulance fans for sale at dubfreeze without switches for £160 a pair. Pretty sure he sold all 3 sets. I bought a pair from a guy a couple of tables down for £100 with the switch...still dear but I really needed a set!

Do these help pull the hot air from the heat exchangers? I've not heard of them before. Intrigued to know how they fit as I'm looking for options for an auxiliary fan other than the snail fan.

Ambulance fans fit in the fresh air ducts behind the dash and make a noise.
    Why?

as Westy says they fit either side below the dash, noisy in use but from memory are good at clearing a foggy windscreen!
You could always fit an eberspacher if the heating is lacking! I’d check all your hoses front back to front first to make sure nothing has come adrift...

  17. This is one of the main reasons I sold mine. Seriously you go to shows and your spanked by traders.
Once you start you want more the only thing I didn’t do is lower it that’s another £1500 plus. Moaning over!
